AZ | One Day in Bisbee 🚗 (Highly Recommended!)
Taking advantage of Veterans Day break, we decided to go on a spontaneous road trip to Bisbee — a charming mining town about 1.5 hours from Tucson! 🏙️⛰️ Known for its rich mining history and abundance of minerals, Bisbee offers a completely different vibe compared to Tucson. Life here feels slower, more relaxed. 🏡 People young and old sit on benches along the streets, chatting and enjoying the breeze with a cup of coffee ☕️😊—it almost feels like a preview of my future retired life, haha! I absolutely loved the stairways and hilly streets—perfect for walking and photography! 📸 Many buildings still retain their historic and Western charm. ⚒️ Queen Mine Tours A must-do in Bisbee! I’d never been inside a mine before, so it felt really unique. Tickets are $14 per adult. I’d recommend booking online in advance—walk-ins might have to wait for the next available tour. The tour lasts about 1 hour. ⏳ You’ll be equipped with a helmet, vest, and a neck flashlight before hopping on a small mine cart. 🪖🔦 Two guides lead the way, and part of the tour includes a walk inside the mine. It was super cool—we saw sparkling crystal formations and felt the cool underground breeze ❄️… so bring a jacket! Backpacks 🎒, sandals 👡, and high heels 👠 are not allowed—wear comfortable sneakers 👟 instead. The gift shop has beautiful mineral specimens—great souvenirs! 💎 🍔 Lunch at Table We ate at Table—a cozy spot serving classic burgers and fries 🍔🍟. The food was decent, but the atmosphere was lovely! There are also many cute coffee shops around town—definitely worth trying! ☕❤️ #HiddenGems #WeekendGetaway #Arizona #Bisbee #TravelAZ
