Ba Na Hills One-Day Tour Guide
The biggest surprise of my trip to Da Nang, Vietnam, was this place called Ba Na Hills. This mountain resort, built by the French at an altitude of 1400 meters, has now transformed into a Vietnamese version of Disney, offering dining, accommodation, and entertainment all in one. 📌 Key Point: Come on a sunny day, or else the experience will be like playing in the clouds and fog, a completely different world. 💝 Must-Visit Spots: 1️⃣ Buddha's Hands Bridge (best before 8 am or after 5 pm) 2️⃣ French Village (great for photos, most beautiful in the evening) 3️⃣ Manual Roller Coaster (70,000 VND, but the ride is too short) 4️⃣ Indoor Amusement Park (various rides, including an indoor free-fall ride) 5️⃣ Castle Train (enjoys the view of the castle and Ba Na Hills) 6️⃣ Great Buddha (a towering Buddha overlooking all from the mountaintop) 📸 Photography Spots: There are many great spots for photos at Ba Na Hills, but good weather is crucial. Otherwise, the photos will be foggy. 1️⃣ Mercure Hotel entrance square 2️⃣ Buddha's Hands Bridge 3️⃣ Castle Train 4️⃣ The world's longest cable car 5️⃣ Great Buddha 6️⃣ Pink Castle 🛏️ Accommodation: 📍 Mercure Danang (Ba Na Hills Mercure Hotel) This stunning hotel is worth staying in for a night, so you won't feel rushed at Ba Na Hills. 🔸 It feels like living in a European castle or an upgraded version of Moganshan Naked Castle. Open the window to see the spired church and central square. The most beautiful moment of Ba Na Hills is after 4 or 5 pm when the tourists leave the mountain. Perching on the window sill of the room's loft, you feel like a runaway princess waiting for a prince to rescue. 🔸 Staying on the mountain gives access to a hotel-exclusive cable car, avoiding the crowds and queues. 🔸 In the morning and evening, you can take advantage of the cable car when tourists are leaving to capture the Buddha's Hands Bridge. 🍽️ Dining: 🔸 There are many online packages that include lunch buffet and entrance tickets. Actually, there are plenty of restaurant options on the mountain, offering Chinese, Korean, and Western cuisines, so you don't have to waste time on an expensive lunch buffet. 🔸 If you stay at Mercure Hotel, you can have a brunch in the morning that covers lunch as well. 🔸 For dinner, head to the beer square with music, beer, and barbecues for a great atmosphere. 🎫 Tickets: 🔸 It's recommended to stay overnight on the mountain, as the entrance ticket, which is the cable car ticket, will be cheaper by dozens of RMB. 🔸 If you don't stay on the mountain, there are day and night tickets. The night ticket, which allows entry after 3 pm, is cheaper. 🚠 Transportation: 🔸 From Da Nang city center, you can take a grab taxi to the foot of Ba Na Hills, which costs about 90-100 RMB, and then take the cable car up the mountain. 🔸 Ba Na Hills has a free shuttle bus that departs from the city center daily, leaving from the Little Ba Na Hill Restaurant entrance. #Travel #OneDayTour #VietnamTravel #DaNang #BaNaHills #DaNangBaNaHills #DaNangTravelGuide #Vietnam #TravelPhotography #Vacation #TravelDiary #LocalAdventures #travel
