🌮 Back to Wahaca – A Refreshing & Flavorful Mexican Escape! 🌮

Located just a stone’s throw from Covent Garden, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance – all because my girlfriend was craving a salad and wanted to show off her healthy side 😉. And what a delightful find it turned out to be! This underground Mexican spot offers a vibrant, cozy vibe, and the service was refreshingly warm and genuine – from the moment we walked in until we said goodbye, the staff made us feel truly welcomed. 👋❤️ We ordered: A beef burrito for me – packed with flavor, tender meat, and just the right amount of spice 🌯🔥 A chicken rainbow salad for her – fresh, colorful, and full of texture 🥗🌈 Both dishes were topped with sweet potato sauce and broccoli, adding a unique and delicious twist! 🍠🥦 It was warm outside, so I cooled down with an ice-cold Corona 🍺, while my girlfriend went for a green juice – she said it was tasty (though my discerning palate wasn’t quite convinced 😅). We enjoyed the food so much that we’d definitely return – especially since Wahaca is part of a small but growing chain, making it easy to revisit in any of their locations! One small note: they automatically add a 10% service charge. While it’s fairly standard, it’s always worth checking if you prefer to tip differently. #Wahaca #CoventGarden #MexicanFood #UndergroundEats #BeefBurrito #RainbowSalad
