Baillotte: A Decent Gathering of Culinary Stars 🌟
I came across recommendations for this place online and thought, "Let me fall in love with it all over again." Overall, it was pretty good, but it didn't quite reach the level of being a must-visit or divine. 🙌 There were quite a few Japanese patrons in the restaurant, which might explain its popularity within the Japanese community. 🇯🇵 The portions were generous. For the appetizer, I ordered fried beef tongue, which had an incredibly tender texture and was paired with refreshing side dishes. 🍖 For the main course, I went with a vegetarian option—a big bowl of assorted radishes. Each type of radish was delicately flavored, and they came with five different sauces, making me feel like spring had arrived. My friend ordered fish and said it was very tender. 🍲 My favorite part was the dessert—a chai tea soufflé. When it arrived, it was freshly baked, still standing tall and piping hot. We had to DIY a bit by pouring the chai tea into it ourselves. The accompanying citrus sorbet added a refreshing twist. I loved the concept, and the soufflé was perfectly baked, though the sweetness was definitely on the French side—quite intense! 🍰 Overall, it was a good experience! 👍 #GKsFoodMap #FrenchCuisine #HiddenGem #food #CulinaryArt #UniqueCreativity
