Battle of Two Omakase Experiences 🍣🌟
Recently, my friends and I visited two omakase restaurants on Manhattan Island – one for lunch and one for dinner. 🌆 🌸 The first one is on Madison Ave, super close to those big banks in Midtown. I highly recommend going for lunch. The 13-course meal is $78, and the cheapest 10-course is $48. 💰 The second one is located near the corner of 28th Street and Lexington. For dinner, the 13-course meal is $56. 🍽️ 🍃 After dining at both, it was clear that the second one was way better! Not only was it cheaper, but the food was also incredibly delicious. The quality of the second restaurant exceeded my expectations. Even the fish roe, which I usually dislike because of its fishy taste, had a surprisingly sweet flavor here. 🦐 🎢 The second restaurant is quite popular, with two large tables seating about 15 people each. They can turn over four sets of diners in one evening, starting at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and so on, until 9 p.m. 🕒 The pacing of the dishes is super fast – you can finish in just 45 minutes. And they'll have you out the door in an hour! ⏰ 🌊 While the first restaurant is $78, with tips and tax, it ends up being around $100. The second one, with everything included, is only $75. What a steal! 🎉 I'll definitely miss this amazing omakase experience! 📍 First Restaurant: Omakase OSUKAA Midtown East 373 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10017 🌸 Second Restaurant: Tsumo Omakase 132 E 28th St, New York, NY 10016 #food 🍔 #NewYork 🌆 #NewYorkLife 🌟
