Belgium | Brussels Michelin Dining 🍽

Hispania Brussels Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price: 70-100€ per person (You’ll be stuffed, trust me!) It’s absolutely delicious!!! Ladies, let’s go!!! And the service attitude is incredibly good!!! (A world of difference from most Michelin restaurants in Paris 😅) Everything we ordered was delicious, no misses at all 🥺. We had garlic parsley scallops, fried artichokes, and Iberian ham slices for starters. The main course was braised sea bass with chives, and we had cheesecake for dessert! The roasted scallops were so tender, cooked to just the right texture. Paired with parsley oil (?), basil leaf cream (?), and crispy trumpet mushrooms (?), it was a mouthful of heaven. The taste lingered with a fragrant oiliness in the mouth 😩. Iberian ham is a must-order when having Spanish cuisine! The one we had was so flavorful and not too salty, with a distinct nutty aroma. It must have been aged for over 12 months, dry and the more you chew, the more its fragrance is released! Wash it down with a fruity Spanish dry white wine! So blissful 🤤 The fried artichoke might be slightly less impressive, basically like a celery stem. The taste was decent, but paired with the black truffle sauce, it was delicious! Kudos to the restaurant for splitting all our dishes into two servings upon request (and for providing an extra egg to accommodate two plates)! By the time the main course arrived, we were already full… but it’s a must-recommend!! Our braised sea bass with chives was also served with a truffle sauce! And!! The skin and flesh were perfectly controlled for roasting! The skin was crispy, and the flesh was almost sashimi-level tenderness, yet fully cooked! The combination of textures was so flavorful and tender, with the truffle sauce complementing without overpowering the sweetness of the fish. The cheesecake at the end was truly!!! Amazing!!! We were already full, but we ordered a dessert to share given the excellent service and the delicious meal. It was served in two portions (honestly, the portion was so generous it felt like two servings). It was the best cheesecake I’ve had this year 🙀. The creaminess and richness were perfect, not cloying. The fruit was super fresh! We were stuffed to the point of not being able to breathe hhh If you enjoy wine, make sure to ask the manager to recommend Spanish wines for you! We said we wanted a fruity dry white, and the one he recommended was so good aaaah (I took a picture of the wine label and put it in the last slide, hehehe, if anyone’s interested, give it a try!) #Brussels #BrusselsFood #Michelin #BrusselsMichelinRestaurant
