Belgium π§πͺ Bruges: A Medieval Old Town as Beautiful as an Oil Painting
A solo travel adventure is simply delightful. I spontaneously decided to take a day trip to Belgium π§πͺ, and I chose Bruges over Brussels β a decision I'm so glad I made! β I truly fell in love with Bruges. Exquisite Beauty and Cleanliness It's exquisitely beautiful and incredibly clean. Strolling through the old town, there are several highlights: Highlights of the Old Town β Take a gondola ride, which takes about half an hour and efficiently tours the entire old town. β Enjoy hot cocoa; Belgian chocolate π« is world-famous, and the one I tried was the best-blended sweet cocoa I've ever had. β Visit the Church of Our Lady in Bruges. β Try the local specialty: mussels cooked in a pot and paired with local beer πΊ. I ate at Poules Moules, and it was delicious. β Buy souvenirs such as chocolate π«. There are many shops with exquisite selections. β Indulge in Belgian specialty waffles π§; Ottos are indeed very good. β Hang out and people-watch in the old town. β Visit the Torture Museum (I found it a bit eerie and not worth the visit). Recommendation for Travelers If you're traveling in the Netherlands or Belgium recently, I highly recommend visiting Bruges. It's said to be listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. #BelgiumTravel #Bruges #Belgium #OffTheBeatenPathTravel #EuropeanTravel #BrugesGuide #BrugesDayTrip #BrugesFood #BrugesBellTower
