Bentonville | Nothing Beats Devouring Big Bites of Meat

Wright’s Barbecue We initially got lost with the navigation and ended up at the Rogers location, but guess what? There’s actually a Bentonville branch too! 🙂‍↕️ We arrived around 5:30 PM, and to our surprise, there was already a line outside—you can check out the crowd in the second-to-last photo! 📸 My TOP Recommendation: Bacon Burnt Ends! 🔥 That dark, crispy chunk of meat at the bottom of the first photo? That’s the star! ⭐ I’d never tried it before, and it was a total game-changer. It has the mouthwatering aroma of grilled pork belly, but instead of thin slices, it’s served in hearty cubes. The texture is perfect—rich, juicy, and packed with savory flavor, yet never greasy! 🥩 Other Meats (Good, But Not Standout): Brisket: A bit dry—probably because the slice we got was from the edge that day. 🥩➖ Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage: You can see visible cheese chunks inside (not just mixed in), which is a nice touch. 🌶️🧀 Ribs: Have a little cartilage, making them fun to gnaw on, but not overly memorable. 🦴 We ordered a 2-Meat Plate ($23) and a 3-Meat Plate ($26) for two people—and we couldn’t finish them! We ended up packing the leftovers to take home. 🥡 Each plate lets you pick 2 sides; besides the Mac and Cheese, we also tried: Deviled Egg Potato Salad: Think “upgraded potato salad” with a hint of deviled egg (though I barely tasted the egg, and I’m a deviled egg fan!). 🥔🥚 Collard Greens: Warm, simmered greens with a slight tang—tastes like they were cooked with pork for extra flavor. 🥬 Cole Slaw: Fresh and crisp, perfect for cutting through the richness of the meats. 🥗 BBQ Sauces: They have three options—Regular, Sweet, and Spicy—but the “Spicy” one is not spicy at all. By Chinese standards, it’s basically a “mildly sweet version”! 🌶️❌ The restaurant has a cozy, all-American vibe—perfect for eating while watching a sports game. ⚾ We peeked inside the smokehouse (I think that’s what it’s called?) outside; it was stacked with wood, which was pretty cool, and the smell of smoking meat was amazing! 🏭 You can check out the full menu in the last photo. 📋 Final Takeaway: My absolute faves are the Bacon Burnt Ends + Mac & Cheese! 🥇 If you’re a meat lover, this spot is a must-try—don’t miss it! #MeatLovers #Bentonville #BentonvilleFood #BigBitesOfMeat #Walmart #FoodieShares
