Bergen, Norway | Fish Me Seafood Market Restaurant😋

As a seafood lover, I almost finished an entire plate of shrimp by myself! Almost every shrimp had roe, which made them incredibly delicious and satisfying—I highly recommend it!😋 Mussels: The bread served alongside the mussels was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making it a perfect match for the dish. The sauce had just the right amount of creaminess, so it wasn't too overwhelming. If you enjoy creamy flavors, this is definitely worth trying.🍣 Fish Roe at Fish Me: Next to the restaurant, Fish Me also sells fish roe, which I highly recommend taking home as a souvenir or treat! 😋Of course, you have to try seafood when you come to Norway. Almost everyone’s first stop is Oslo. However, most of the seafood recommendations on XHS for Norway suggest Vulkanfisk Seafood in Oslo, which is said to have the “best fish soup.” But honestly, that’s not true ❌ . I really feel that the fish soup and seafood I’ve had at any other place in Norway are much better than theirs!!!!! If you pass through Bergen, I highly recommend Fish Me in Bergen. It’s super fresh and delicious. Four of us ordered two sets of their seafood platter. The top layer had fresh, raw seafood, while the bottom layer was steamed. 🍣 ✨The king crab legs, various large shrimps, and scallops were particularly delicious. The oysters, in my opinion, were just okay. But the fish soup and the bread served before the meal were both very tasty. Even the sweet potatoes were better than those at Vulkanfisk in Oslo. ✨Large Fish Roe: Available options include Wild Salmon, Farmed Salmon, and Trout. The staff recommended Wild Salmon and Trout, and I went with Trout—it was fantastic! Small Red Fish Roe: I can't remember the name, but it was also recommended by the staff and tasted great. Gift Boxes: They offer beautifully packaged gift boxes containing four jars of fish roe. These make great presents or indulgences for yourself! 📍 Strandkaien 3, 5013 Bergen #Bergen #BergenTravel #BergenGuide #BergenFood #NorwayTravel #LifeInNorway #Norway #NorwayTourism
