π Blow away by this Bergen restaurant! Merg&Beinπ₯
π€© Folks, I'm going to give a huge shout-out to Merg&Bein in Bergen!π π I ordered from the small dishes share menu, and every single dish was so delicious it left me speechless!π π The homemade toasted bread with herb butter was out of this world! The portion was generous too, I couldn't resist getting another herb butter!π₯° π¦ The starter, fried lobster balls, were so tender and scrumptious!π π The mussels cooked in cheese were incredibly fresh, even better than what I had at Fish Me the night before!π€ π₯© The beef with mashed potatoes was so tender it melted in my mouth, it was heavenly!π€€ π₯ The potato waffles brought tears to my eyesπ, the flavor of the stir-fried potato shreds with caviar was unique and reminiscent of home! π The beef marrow, served with pickled bamboo shoots to cut the richness, was rich and smooth, but a bit oily, better with bread!π πΈ Overall, the cost per person is around 500, which is much more budget-friendly compared to the 1500 seafood platter I had at Fish Me!π π Also, sharing a tip for getting from Bergen Airport to the city center: After exiting the airport, the usual way is to take the number 1 light rail. There are two ways to buy ticketsπ Buy directly from the machine on the platform, but it doesn't accept my credit cardπ Buy through the app, normally it's called Skyss Billett #BergenRestaurant #MergBein #FoodRecommendation #TravelTips #Bergen #BergenCityTransport #BergenAirportToCityCenter
