Berkeley 🧩 | Hidden Park & Authentic Korean Food 🤩
Headed back to film rehearsals tomorrow and the day after 🎬— So I’m soaking up the last bit of spring break with some peaceful sightseeing in Berkeley 🌿 Shoutout to Huby for the super smooth drive 🚗💨 📍 Cesar Chavez Park 🔍 11 Spinnaker Way, Berkeley A hidden gem highly recommended by Huby 🙋🏻♀️ Perfect for walking, running, dog-walking, relaxing, or mountain biking 🚴♀️🦮 🌊 No one can resist the sparkling water The sunlit waves look like they’ve been gilded with gold ✨ Every time I see the ocean under the sunlight, I feel hopeful—it’s like seeing our future shining brightly 💫 🐿️ Got totally charmed by a little critter munching carefully on grass At first I thought it was a squirrel, but it kept crawling close to the ground… so let’s call it a “flat-ground mouse” 😂 Huby says they do that to hide from hawks and seagulls around! 🌁 From across the water, you can see the skyline of the Bay Area And the Golden Gate Bridge glowing red under the sun 🌉 💛 Sunshine • Waves • Benches • Hills • Grass • Cherry Blossoms • Wildlife 💚 When life gets busy with clubs and classes, the seaside really washes away all the stress 🌊 It’s peaceful and quiet—just you and the ocean 🧘♀️ P.S. It gets windy—bring a jacket! 🧥 📍 Bowl’d Korean Rice Bar! 1479 Solano Ave, Albany Unexpectedly discovered this place—best Korean food I’ve had near Berkeley! 👉 Highly recommend: Spicy Chewy Noodles 🍜 Ram-Don (beef bone soup) The rice cakes are the softest, the fish cakes are fragrant, and everything soaked in that spicy sauce is just perfect 🌶️🥢 The Ram-Don beef bone soup is incredible—with radish, vermicelli, egg, and tender beef… so deeply flavorful 🍖❤️ The radish is as delicious as the kind you get in oden! 🍢 Special thanks to Huby for giving me major inspiration for my novel 📖✨ Time to get back to writing—gotta make progress! 📝 #StudyInUSA #UCBerkeley #HiddenGems #SFBayArea #KoreanFood #USATravel #CampusLife
