Berkeley Summer School｜Weekend Getaway Ideas 🥰

Saturday: Steam Train & Carousel 📍 Tilden Regional Park Specifically, search for Tilden Park Steam Train and Tilden Park Merry-Go-Round 🚂🎠. Note: The two attractions are quite far apart. We took a ride to the steam train first, then walked to the carousel—but it took 2-3 hours on rough wilderness trails 🥾😮💨. Not recommended unless you’re up for a hike! ⛰️ But the views around the lake along the way were gorgeous 🌄. Sunday: Half Moon Bay 📍 Half Moon Bay We headed to a golf resort hotel—felt like stepping into an old-money paradise 🏌️‍♂️💼✨. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking 😍💙! Be sure to go on a sunny day—the ocean turns a stunning turquoise blue under the sunlight 🌊. Wear a long dress or something flowy—it looks amazing blowing in the sea wind for photos 📸👗. There are many hiking trails here. We chose one that follows the coast northward 🚶‍♀️🌲.
