Berlin's Green Week: A Giant Markthalle! 🌿🥖

From January 19th to 28th, Berlin's Messe is hosting the International Green Week. Inside, you’ll find not just special foods and agricultural products from every region of Germany, but also delicious treats from across Europe and around the world. 🌍🍴 The prices inside aren’t bad either, pretty much on par with street food stalls, and sometimes even cheaper! A Thuringian sausage with bread is only €3, and a scoop of ice cream is about €2. Plus, there are lots of free samples, and even if you don’t buy anything, the vendors are all smiles, patiently answering every question. 😄🍦 Most people leave the event at least half-full—it’s hard to resist all the food! It’s basically a giant international street food festival, with the bonus of being able to watch cultural performances from different regions. Talk about value for money! 🎉🌍 Besides all the food, there are also agriculture and pet exhibits. Farmers proudly show off their beloved donkeys, rabbits, dogs, and goats. 🐐🐕🐇 You’ll even see many men and women in traditional costumes promoting their local tourism spots. I was surprised to learn that Germany has so many farm stays! From Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to Bavaria, from Saxony-Anhalt to North Rhine-Westphalia, it brought back a lot of great memories for me. 💭✨ The ticket prices for the exhibition are €16, with Sunday specials at €13. Students can get in for €10, and on Sundays, student tickets are only €5! If you go on a Sunday, it’s definitely worth it. 🏷️🎫 #Berlin #Germany #Exhibition #Messe
