๐ŸŒ Berlin's Underground World ๐Ÿš‡

I highly recommend the Berliner underwelten series of tours, which consists of seven different themed routes that explore Berlin's underground world from various perspectives. There are seasonal routes as well, but unfortunately, I couldn't find them. I want to visit Tour M, which is about the Berlin Wall's underground, but it was so popular that the tickets were sold out early. If you want to experience it, be sure to book early. I ended up booking Tour F, Fichtebunker, which tells the 130-year history of Berlin through a bunker. The guide was absolutely fantastic, clearly passionate about their work. In addition to the regular explanations, they also shared some stories they encountered while working. The 90-minute tour felt like it went by quickly. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ๐ŸŒFor an additional 3โ‚ฌ, you can buy a combo ticket for Mythos Germania, which describes Hitler and his architect Albert Speer's attempt to build the ideal Germania, the capital of the world, in Berlin. The exhibition is not large, mainly consisting of textual introductions. It takes about an hour to see it all. Standing in front of the model, you can imagine how magnificent the ideal city would be if it were built, but the background is the foreign laborers who were forced to work on this project. I personally think that visiting Mythos Germania after the underground tour enhances the experience. If I have the chance, I definitely want to go through every route at least once. ๐Ÿ™ A side note: Mythos Germania is located in the mezzanine between the subway station and the ground level. After seeing the exhibition, looking at the color scheme of this subway station gives a strange, damp, "Shape of Water" vibe. #Berlin #TheShapeofWater
