Berlin | A Trio of Chefs Collaborate πŸΆπŸŸπŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

On the weekend, I enjoyed a day of neon-colored meals with friends πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ€β€πŸ‘©πŸΌπŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ€β€πŸ‘©πŸΌ. Julius, Reigen, and Aru, three chefs, joined forces for a pop-up event. Julius continues to impress with his consistent and delicious offerings, making it a go-to spot for friends to gather. Reigen, still under a year old, is already known for its exceptional sake sparkling. Aru is currently under renovation and will soon open as a Japanese pickled and sauce restaurant. Skewers 🍒🍑🍒: - **Asparagus**: Sake lees-marinated green asparagus - **Wagyu**: Wagyu beef flank steak - **Bluefin Tuna**: Soy sauce-marinated bluefin tuna - **Sourdough Toast**: Japanese pickles, roasted bread with bear onion and white miso The Wagyu sold out quickly, but we ordered the rest. The soy sauce-marinated tuna was the MVP of the night. Although it didn't look very appealing, the method of brief marination in a mixed sauce preserved the fish's freshness while enhancing its texture. The surface, after being grilled, had a savory, smoky flavor, while the inside remained raw and fresh. The grilled asparagus was crispy and tender, retaining its juices and natural sweetness, with a hint of charred flavor. The pickles were great for drinking, with a unique flavor that was refreshing and slightly sweet. The part of the bear onion miso with more sake lees didn't quite suit my taste. The sake sparkling was a limited-time offer for today and was perfect for summer. The bubbly texture was refreshing and light, with a subtle sake flavor that was very comfortable. 🍴 **Julius** πŸ“Œ Gerichtstraße 31, 13347 Berlin πŸ’° 30€ per person (including drinks) #JapaneseCuisine #Sake #BerlinRestaurant #BerlinGermany #BeautifulFood #BerlinJapanese #Tuna
