Berlin | Humboldt Forum
🇩🇪 The Humboldt Forum and the TV Tower can be captured together in one frame, and the best spot is actually on the 4th floor rooftop of the Humboldt Forum. 📸 By taking the elevator directly to the top, you can overlook almost all of Berlin's major attractions from an incredibly close perspective. It's the only place where you can get a perfect shot of the Berlin Cathedral and the TV Tower together. The Museum Island is also clearly visible, making it the perfect spot to enjoy this breathtaking view at sunset. 🌇 🗺️ On the first floor of the museum, the exhibition "Berlin Global" explores how people connect with cities, places, and events through the history of Berlin's development. When you enter, you can pick up a sensor watch⌚ to participate in interactive projects. At each thematic entrance, you can choose the viewpoint you support, and when you pass through the door, you'll hear a unique alert sound from your watch. 🎉 Here, I experienced DJing, dancing to disco with noise-canceling headphones, and learning about Berlin's history, punk techno, art culture, fashion, gender equality, and the development of the LGBT movement. There are also a few delightful surprises related to 🇨🇳: a vintage vinyl record player with Mei Lanfang's "Phoenix Returns to the Nest" and a stereoscope with images of Qingdao from the 1930s. 🎶 Towards the end of the exhibition, there's a project where you write down a place you want to visit on a piece of paper, how to get there, and then put it into a wooden ball and drop it into a cool, iron pipe. After you throw the ball, another one from a previous visitor will pop out, and you can read the note they wrote. It feels like a subtle yet warm connection with a stranger. 💌 I threw a ball with Tokyo written on it and received one from someone who wants to go to Florida, complete with drawings of palm trees, sunshine, and beaches—places I also want to visit (because of Disney and Universal Studios). I wonder what kind of person received my ball? At the end of the exhibition, your choices in each theme will be analyzed to determine the concept you value most, and you'll receive a ticket to engage with the world. 🌍 The 2nd and 3rd floors feature exhibitions on Asian and African cultures, with handicrafts and sound installations that are definitely worth checking out. 🎭 🕘 Opening hours: 10:30-18:00, closed on Tuesdays 🎫 Admission: Roof top: 5 euros Berlin Global exhibition: 7 euros Environmental exhibition: Free🆓, but requires booking on the official website 2nd and 3rd floors: Free🆓, no reservation needed #PhotographyContest #SoloExhibitionVisit #MissingEveryDayOfTheWorld #BerlinTravel #BerlinLife #BerlinWeekend #BestSpotsInBerlin #MuseumIsland #MostBeautifulSunset #HealingMomentsICaptured
