Berlin Cuisine | A New Favorite - Peruvian Food! 😝
Lately, I've been getting tired of the same foods, so it's nice to occasionally try some Western cuisine. I decided to check out this nearby Peruvian restaurant. The flavors were good, but nothing too amazing. The restaurant is located near the U-Bahn Berliner Straße, just a 5-minute walk from the station, right next to Mr. Liu (a little side note: Mr. Liu's portions are getting smaller, but the prices are going up!). 😅 Appetizer - Peruvian Snack Platter: The fried pork belly was a bit too greasy, but the squid salad and green mussels were pretty good, with a slightly tangy flavor. A tip: trying the cassava was like opening a new world; it's quite dry, but with a little seasoning, it gradually becomes salty and flavorful! 🌟 Main Course - Roasted Lamb Leg Rice: My friend said it was very tasty and tender. (If you don't eat lamb, I'm not sure how it would be.) The fried fish and shrimp platter was just average (when it comes to seafood, I think you have to go with Spanish cuisine!). I ordered the chicken curry, but the chicken was way too dry; one bite and I was choking! 😬 However, I highly recommend trying the Peruvian specialty juice Chicha Morada! It was super refreshing with a slight tartness. Very nice! 🥤 We were four people and the average cost was about €28 each, which is quite reasonable considering all the meat dishes.
