Berlin Diary|🔞 Adults-Only Spanish Restaurant
We were asked right at the door, "You didn’t bring any kids, did you?" 😳 Although this restaurant claims to serve Spanish cuisine, we were greeted by incredibly enthusiastic Iranian guys. 🌟 Key point: Friendly service in Berlin often comes with a catch. 😅 The place doesn’t have the traditional Spanish sangria, but they offer a wide selection of dry reds, sparkling wines, whites, and cocktails. 🍷🥂 The tapas set lets you choose between large or small portions, with each plate featuring a different mix. The potatoes were delicious, and the mushrooms were great too—though a tad too sweet for my taste. 🥔🍄 The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date. 💖 👍 Highly recommend the starter—mixed salad with Serrano ham, sausage, cheese, and greens. Super refreshing and tasty! 🥗😋 😍 The bread served with garlic butter was also a win! Loved it! 🧄🍞 🦐 Skip the shrimp! They added lemon chunks with the peel, which made the shrimp unbearably bitter. Hard pass! ❌🍋 🍨 If you must order dessert, go for the crème brûlée. Avoid the chocolate mousse at all costs!! The texture was dense, served at room temperature, and tasted like a greasy, overly sweet glob of artificial cream. 🤢 Definitely an "acquired taste," likely inspired by Middle Eastern sweets. ❌🍫 🤔 Another oddity? The plating was... confusing. Who approved this? Not only was it unappealing, but it also made the dishes hard to eat. ❌🍽️ As for why it’s "Adults Only 🔞"? The restaurant explained: "We’re tiny—just 26 seats. The lighting is dim, we love candles, and we recommend couples come for a romantic dinner." 🕯️ So, no clickbait here... A restaurant that’s hard to describe. In short? Not a must-visit. 🤣 Save your money unless you’re really curious. 🇪🇸🍷 Tapasbar das Bonito 🍷 Spanish 💰 ~€30 per person #BerlinFood #RestaurantRecs
