Berlin Diary | Our "First Date" Tapas Spot 💕 (Totally Worth It!)
This restaurant holds a special place in my heart—it's where my boyfriend and I had our first proper date (after surviving countless "workhorse meals" together 😂). Back then, he rarely ate Chinese food but *loved* Italian and Spanish cuisine (hence his pick). Our first meal here was... awkwardly distracted. This time? We brought friends to properly enjoy it! 🌟 Can't-miss dishes : - Calamares guisados con patatas (weekly special!): Tender squid stewed with potatoes—*show the pic if it's not on the menu* 🦑🥔 - Anchovies in vinegar : *Super tangy* + that *lovely fishy kick*! Paired with herby green sauce (olive oil + parsley?)—perfect on bread/tomatoes. 🍞🍅 🍖 Jamón : Decent, but *not mind-blowing* (especially after Madrid's ham heaven in January!). 👩🍳 Note : As a spice-loving southerner, Spanish food is the *only European cuisine* that satisfies my palate! But beware—portions are HUGE (€30/person left us *stuffed*), and flavors lean *salty*—hydrate! 💦 🔥 P.S. That squid stew? Still as delicious as our *now-not-awkward* love story. 😉💘 🇪🇸 El Pepe 🇪🇸 📍 Berlin #BerlinEats #TapasLover #DateNightSpot #SpanishFood
