Berlin Exhibition Visit | Hamburger Bahnhof 🚂🎨

Among all the art institutions I've visited in Berlin, the Hamburger Bahnhof (Hamburg Train Station Museum) left the deepest impression on me. Thomas Ruff - The restraint is very German 🇩🇪🗣️ Elmgreen & Dragset - A sunken Contemporary Art Gallery, where part of the building's signage has sunk into the ground, leaving only "temporary art" visible. Quite ironic for a contemporary art institution 🏢🌐 Jeremy Shaw - An immersive video installation composed of seven screens, evolving from light and cheerful dancing to extreme frenzy. It's incredibly striking 🖥️💃 Marianna Simnett: WINNER (2024.05.17 - 11.03) The audience sits on chairs that are part of a prize podium covered in balls 🏆⚽️ Mark Bradford: Keep Walking (2024.06.09 - 2025.05.18) Mark Bradford's first solo exhibition in Germany 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Joseph Beuys Permanent exhibition featuring 15 works all from the collection of the Nationalgalerie 🎨🏛️ Alexandra Pirici: Attune (2024.04.25 - 10.06) Pirici's installation specifically created for the Hamburger Bahnhof hall, accompanied by live performances of actors chanting and dancing 🎭💃 #BerlinExhibitionVisit #HamburgerBahnhof #HamburgTrainStationMuseum
