The welcome letter (see Photo 4) was in Chinese—definitely a nice touch! Late Check-Out: Approved until 16:00, which is super practical, especially for those catching an evening flight. 🥐 Breakfast Experience Breakfast combines a buffet with a la carte options. I’d read some Xiaohongshu reviews mentioning “so-so service,” but I didn’t encounter any issues this time. The bathroom has separate dry/wet areas, with a standalone shower and bathtub. Maintenance is good, meeting the expected standards of a 5-star hotel. 📍 Location (Biggest Advantage!) The hotel is right next to Potsdamer Platz U-Bahn station—just a few steps from the subway. It’s also within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag Building, and shopping districts. Perfect for first-time visitors to Berlin or trips focused on sightseeing. 😋 Summary For Marriott Platinum members, “getting perks” at Ritz-Carlton overseas is tougher—no room upgrade, no free breakfast, no lounge access. However, if your goal is to experience the brand, enjoy reliable service, and stay in a prime location, this property is worth considering.
