Berlin Spot Check | Berghain - Club and Gallery ποΈπ§
ππAs long as you're not completely out of place, the bouncer won't turn you away. My friend was the most colorful person in the venue, wearing a nearly fluorescent green furry coat that had passersby complimenting her on how good she looked. So, you don't necessarily have to wear black. You can't have a history in the club (harassing patrons can get you on the blacklist), can't be visibly intoxicated, and apparently, blonde, wealthy-looking girls might not make it in, as several have been rejected before. ππThe prerequisite for not being rejected might be that they think you enjoy electronic music or that you can have fun inside without causing trouble, but it's all based on the bouncer's own feelings. I believe there's no surefire guide, after all, even Musk has been turned away, so if you don't make it in, there's no need to feel too disappointed. ππStraight guys and girls, try to avoid going on Fridays. Sunday afternoon is a better time, you can line up for about an hour after three in the afternoon. ππI really like the interior structure of this building, as well as the bar and the art on the walls. The bar setup is very well done, it's a pity you can't take photos, such as the glowing character resin sculptures and a 1:1 character puppet. ππDuring the C19 pandemic, Berghain turned the club into a gallery, showcasing over 80 works created by artists including Wolfgang Tillmans, Olafur Eliasson, and Anne Imhof during the lockdown, covering photography, sculpture, painting, video, sound, performance, and installation, in a 3500 square meter dance floor. ππThe walls of the Panorama Bar are adorned with Tillmans' photographic works. Berghain's art exhibition was open to the public at the time, and there was no need to wait in line and suffer the bouncer's mood. ππUnder the strong techno cultural background, good art and good music are the cornerstones of Berghain's enduring success. The origin and development of techno are fully reflected within Berghain, so those who are just curious should not go. Understanding humanity and mutual respect are very important, just be yourself without disturbing others. This standard applies no matter where you are, it's not required only in specific venues. #Berlin #BerlinClub #Berghain #PanoramaBar #Artworks #Gallery
