Berlin Zoo – Pandas, Hippos & More! 🐼❤️

I went mainly for the baby pandas – and they did NOT disappoint! Giant pandas are adorable no matter how old they are 🐾💕. The mama panda was just sitting and munching on bamboo the whole time 🎋😋 – she even peeled the older stalks and ended up with a whole pile of scraps! When we circled back later, she was still eating… just from a different spot 😂. The baby pandas were super cute too! One was trying to sleep while the other was running around pushing and shoving – and even knocked the sleepy one right off the platform! 🐼💤😅 The hippo feeding session was also fascinating 🦛👀 – it’s amazing how such huge animals can move so gracefully in the water. They even swim on their backs! There’s also an aquarium inside the zoo, but since we’ve been to others before, we skipped it this time 🐠🚶‍♂️. Overall, the zoo is quite large, but the layout feels a bit spread out and not very compact. There didn’t seem to be a huge variety of animals, and some enclosures felt a little lonely 😔🐾. I’ve been to Hanover Zoo before, and except for the pandas, I’d say it’s better – more interactive activities and a much smarter visiting route 🏞️🎪.
