Best Meal of Our 10-Day Trip to Hawaii!! 🍴 💁We live in Chicago, where there is an abundance of fantastic restaurants. A friend from home recommended Miro. We didn't see it on any top restaurant lists in Honolulu, but are so glad we came!👏 Miro's 5-course pre-fixe menu is the perfect size and they offer a few additions. We opted to add on a few oysters (which they allowed you to order by the single oyster) and an ahi brioche, as well as an extra glass of champagne (we otherwise ordered the standard wine pairing). The ahi brioche LITERALLY melted in our mouths—fluffy brioche paired with fresh tuna tartare and a light cream sauce, every bite was a burst of freshness and richness!🍷 Their dishes—like the agnoloti, butternut, and matsut👏ake creation—were absolutely on par with Michelin-starred restaurants back home, and we’d be thrilled to see Miro earn one too! The pasta was delicate, the butternut squash filling was sweet and creamy, and the matsutake added an earthy depth that made every bite unforgettable.🍷 📌Both the service and the food were truly top-notch, especially considering the reasonable price. 🌟Our server even poured me a complimentary glass of a premium white Chateauneuf du Pape just because I mentioned being curious about it—such a thoughtful touch! They paid attention to every detail: refilling our water glasses before they emptied, explaining each dish’s ingredients and best way to enjoy it, and never making us feel rushed. 👏We would highly recommend Miro to anyone who enjoys great food and wine and is looking to get off the beaten path of Honolulu’s tourist-heavy restaurant scene.
