📖 Dive into a book without a care in the world… Since the Earth is round, I wonder if someone on the other side of the Pacific in Mexico is also lying on the grass, Mojito in one hand 🍸, flipping through a Spanish novel with the other? 📍 North Stradbroke Island | Hidden gem · Freedom · Unforgettable The perfect day trip near Brisbane! 🚉 How to get there: 🎫 Book ferry tickets one day in advance: Sealink return ticket $20 AUD (Cleveland → Dunwich) 🚂 Catch an early train from Roma St. to Cleveland (1 hour), then transfer to Bus 271 🚌 to Toondah Harbour (check schedule – see last image!) 🚢 Board the ferry and enjoy the blue seas, skies, and ocean breeze! 🚌 Island transport: Bus 880 🚌 – buy a day pass for $10 AUD, hop on/off anywhere. Get off at 📍Point Lookout – a few cafés and restaurants here. I brought a Lune croissant 🥐 to save time (and money 😉). 🥾 Walking route: Start at 📍Gorge Walk along the coast – super windy (my croissant blew away 😅 but I picked it up and kept eating!). Saw so many unique plants! 🌿 Walk all the way to 📍Main Beach – stunning, painting-like views 🖼️. Loop back to the start by 3:30-4:00 PM, had ice cream 🍦 and even spotted kangaroos! 🦘 ⏰ Caught the 4:00 PM bus back to the ferry for the 4:55 PM return ride. Watched an incredible sunset 🌅 – the moon rose over the sea, blending with the twilight… pure magic.
