Bigi i Birghe

**Check Google Maps ratings more often. Restaurants with a rating around 4.5 and a significant number of reviews (500+ reviews are usually not new places and have diverse feedback from around the world) are generally quite good. Of course, it's also important to look at recent negative reviews to see if they are points you would care about.**❤️❤️❤️ This restaurant is just a 5-minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery, and it’s only a few steps across the bridge.😻😻😻 **Bigi (average cost: €50)** The T-bone steak here is on the rare side, which might not be for everyone, but my partner and I both like it this way. We were very satisfied with the taste and texture. It’s a great value for the quality of the beef. The appetizer platter includes refreshing cherry tomatoes and tender mushrooms. The other two items didn’t quite suit my taste.😍😍😍 The wild boar pasta features meat that is stewed until it’s very tender, with no gamey or off-putting flavors. I’ve had wild boar before that was tough, dry, and unappetizing, but this was a pleasant surprise. The tiramisu has a subtle coffee flavor with minimal alcohol taste. It’s rich and not too sweet, avoiding any cloying aftertaste. **Tito (average cost: €35)** 💕💕💕 Maybe I didn’t order correctly, but I didn’t find it as good as Bigi. Every dish at Tito was quite salty. The reservation process was also off-putting, with an unwelcoming attitude over the phone. The service in the restaurant felt lackadaisical, as if the staff were just there to have fun. **Environment:** Bigi has a spacious dining area, and we enjoyed our lunch outside. Tito is much smaller and requires advance reservations. **Service:** Bigi’s service is better than Tito’s, with more attention to the dining experience. (PS: Both are highly rated, but their responses to negative reviews are noticeably different.) **Taste:** Overall, the food at Bigi is very good. Tito might be more suitable for those who prefer strong, salty flavors. **Conclusion:** Always check Google reviews thoroughly, including the negatives. Since everyone’s taste is different, a comprehensive approach will lead to a better overall experience. **Trattoria da i Bigi e i Birghe** 📍 **Via de' Guicciardini 16, Interno Galleria, 96, 50125 Firenze FI, Italy** #ItalianCuisine #WesternCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGemRestaurant #AmbienceRestaurant #Cooking #GlobalEating #FoodCollector #Italy #Florence #Food #FoodieDaily
