Birmingham | Canal-side Birthday Restaurant Noel's Bar
Average cost: £65 per person (service charge for three) | Linguine with fresh lobster 🦞: My friend mentioned the lobster had a bit of a fishy taste (not sure if it's due to the breed here), but the pasta that came with it was delicious! You can ask for extra cheese. 💰 £39 T-bone: Ordered medium well but it was a bit tough, and the edges were a little burnt, but still edible 😂 💰 £39 Fish Platter: The scallops in it were huge and absolutely delicious! Fresh and tasty! Also includes fried small fish, squid rings, prawns, smoked salmon, and cod. The fried items weren't that great. 💰 £39 Dessert after dinner: Cheese cake: It was a complimentary birthday gift, decorated with 'Happy Birthday', perfect for photos, and my friend said it was tasty. Apple & Cherry tart: This was a delightful surprise, a pastry filled with apple topped with cherry sauce and marshmallows. Even if you're full, you have to try this! 🥹 Drinks 🍸: Pink Butterfly: Sweet and sour, very tasty, almost no alcohol content. My friend ordered a cocktail called 'Blue something' which was also good, but a bit more alcoholic. It seems like you can't go wrong with any drink choice here. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for the atmosphere) I made a reservation on the official website in advance, which required a card. If you don't show up, they charge £5 per person. It was easy to find by taxi, located by the canal, with a nice environment and many locals. #Birmingham #BirminghamLife #BirminghamFood #BirminghamSurroundings #BirminghamRestaurant #BirminghamBirthday #UK #UKLife
