🍜🍛 Birmingham | Jewellery Quarter Authentic Malaysian Flavor 🍛🍜
📍Address: 21 Augusta St, Birmingham B18 6JA 🍴Restaurant Name: Kopitiam 💰Price: £53 (for two people) 【P1】Kampung Fried Rice 🍚🔥 It was okay when we ate it on the day, but the rice flavor became richer overnight! Slightly spicy, with shrimp and meat, the rice was fried to be soft and oily, and the small fried silver fish were fresh, fragrant, and crispy, like an upgraded version of egg fried rice. 【P2】Fragrant Chicken 🍗🍳 The chicken should be fried first and then stir-fried. The outer layer has a thin crispy shell, and the meat is firm and has a tearing sensation. The taste is a bit salty, and the okra in it really enhances the flavor. 【P3】Salt-egg Yolk Chicken Wings / Salt-egg Yolk Tamagoyaki Tofu 🍳🍗 Delicious, my vocabulary is too poor to know how to praise it. The salt-egg yolk seasoning is very restrained, without any fishy smell, and the balance between salty and sweet is just right. I didn't take a photo of the tofu, but it's also a dish I love. The skin is slightly tough, but it melts in your mouth. 【P4】Fried Kway Teow 🍜🔥 The best-tasting dish in the restaurant! The kway teow is oily, shiny, and slightly charred, with crisp bean sprouts, springy shrimp, and fragrant eggs. One bite gives you a layered progression of crispy, springy, and sticky textures. 【P5】Pineapple Coconut Milk 🍍🥛 The first taste is sweet, followed by a subtle fruit acidity. It's better to add ice, as it's a bit too sweet at room temperature. Be sure to bring cash to this restaurant❗️ Remember to make a reservation in advance❗️ We were very lucky to find a vacant seat, but several tables that came in later without a reservation didn't get to eat. #Birmingham #BirminghamFood #BirminghamLife
