BK’s 4.8-Star Thai Tavern

The sea bass melted in my mouth, absolutely stunning! The impatience of waiting in the cold wind for over half an hour vanished the moment I tasted this sea bass: the thick, tender, and juicy flesh just dissolved in my mouth!! Paired with sweet steamed pumpkin and vegetables, it was gone in 5 minutes. This little shop is super popular in the area, with lots of people dating or having a drink on weekends. The appetizers are a bit salty and perfect with a drink, but the main courses and the wine won my heart. 👉 Crab Croquette (Fried Crab Meat Croquette): The crispy exterior encases a generous filling of tender crab meat, with a rich tom yum kung sauce that balances saltiness and spiciness perfectly. 👉 Naem (Fermented Pork Crispy Rice Salad): I didn’t quite get this one, just found it rather salty. 👉 Kao Soi (Dry Curry Beef Egg Noodles): They’ve turned the Chiang Mai curry noodles into a dry version, with large pieces of tender beef, and the egg noodles are half crispy and half soft. The Thai dry curry has a mild but enduring spiciness, super fragrant! 🍹 If you know you know: Similar to a Pina colada, it’s rich and smooth with coconut and pineapple aromas. 🍸 I’m walking on sunshine: Whisky mixed with passion fruit, orange, lemon, and lime juice, it’s fruity and refreshing, a perfect match for the spicy appetizers. #NewYork #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkThaiCuisine #ThaiFoodInNewYork #Brooklyn #BrooklynFood #NewYorkDateNightRestaurants #NewYorkRestaurants #HighDemandFoodiePersonalityForFallAndWinter
