Blueberry 🫐 & Cherry 🍒 Picking

✨VanderHelm Farms has begun its picking season for the year! Blueberries, cherries, and peaches are ripening in succession, so you can choose according to your preference. We picked two varieties of blueberries: Snowchaser and Springhigh, both with a delightful sweet-and-sour flavor. The red-skinned cherries also offered a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. A surprise awaited us near the parking lot—a small bird had built its nest on the ground and was incubating four eggs! It was our first time seeing such an open, ground-level bird nest 🪹.
