Bologna|Hidden Neighborhood Pasta Spot
😋On my way to get my dog’s health certificate, I stumbled upon this family-run trattoria called Trattoria Dall’Olio. 📀Pushing open the wooden door, I found the place filled with elderly locals chatting and middle-aged folks just off work—not a single tourist in sight. 🍝We started with the Penne all’Arrabbiata—“Angry Penne”—a name that already promises personality! The sauce was rich but not heavy, with each tube of pasta filled with fresh tomato sauce and finely chopped parsley. ✅ A subtle spiciness balanced by the freshness of herbs made it incredibly satisfying. 🔶Next came the Tagliatelle, which our server proudly described as “grandma’s recipe.” While the seasoning was simple, the texture of the pasta was exceptional—not undercooked or hard, but tender and chewy, clearly handmade. 🌴We also tried the Arrosto di Manzo (roast beef), thinly sliced with a texture reminiscent of Chinese spiced beef, but more tender and juicy. It was served with roasted potatoes and rosemary—simple yet sincere. 📍Name: Trattoria Dall’Olio. Address: Via Scandellara, 13A, 40138 Bologna BO, Italy #BolognaFood #FamilyRestaurant #ItalianPasta
