Bologna Food Hunt - Al kantara Moroccan Restaurant
❣️ Location: Al kantara, Via Giacomo Matteotti 28/F (At the Piazza Unità bus stop, wait for the number 98 bus) 🧩 Business Hours: Closed on Mondays; open from 12:00 to 16:30 and from 18:30 to 23:00 from Tuesday to Sunday (recommended to arrive before 22:00 as the kitchen starts cleaning). 🥹 It's a small restaurant, about the size of a room, but it's nicely decorated. As soon as you enter, you can see Tajine pots of various sizes and the Quran playing in the speakers. 👍 The staff are all female, quite friendly, though a bit hard to understand in Italian. ❣️ We ordered two Tajines, which were enough to fill one person up to seven-tenths. The taste is similar to a foreign spezzatino, averaging 14 euros per serving. 👍 Pastillas, with their crispy pastry covered in powdered sugar and cinnamon, filled with chicken and nuts, have a subtle flavor but are not bad! Grilled chicken skewers are a bit salty, just average, 2 euros per skewer. ❣️ Tè alla menta, mint tea, is overly sweet! Diluting it with a bit of water helps, and it tastes like melted mint-flavored chewing gum, refreshing upon tasting. #Bologna #Italy #ItalianLife #BolognaFood #Bologna #Morocco #BolognaCuisine #MyTravelDiary
