Bones Steakhouse.

🍞Usually, I wouldn't post about a restaurant of this caliber, but many people claim it to be the best steakhouse in Atlanta, which really disappointed me. 🍞The pre-meal bread was larger than my head and surprisingly tasty; before I knew it, I had eaten half of it. 🍞For the appetizer, I ordered the octopus salad. The octopus lacked flavor but was tender. The seared tuna was quite good, topped with something that resembled fried Sichuan peppercorns, which added a rich texture. The foie gras was enormous! It was unnecessary to have such a large portion for one person. The first bite was delicious and blissful, making this foie gras lover extremely happy. By the second bite, I was already feeling overwhelmed, and eventually, it became too rich. 🍞For the main course, I had the dry-aged ribeye with lobster tail and hash browns. The hash browns weren't particularly tasty, but they were quite unique. They were crispier than potato chips and served with sour cream. I didn't have high hopes for the lobster tail, but it was surprisingly chewy and flavorful. The steak, which was supposed to be the highlight of the meal, was a letdown. Some parts were burnt and bitter, and overall, it lacked flavor. There was no seasoning, and the steak itself didn't have the rich beef aroma. If I had to recommend something, it would be the ambiance and service. The food was average; it wasn't bad, but it didn't leave me with a desire to return. Among the fine dining experiences I've had, the only ones that make me want to go back are Atlas and the Omakase table. #Atlanta #AtlantaFoodGuide #AtlantaEats #AtlantaExplore #AtlantaFunAndTaste #EatAndDrinkInAtlanta ### name:Bones address:3130 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta, GA type:place ###
