Boston’s Zoo Where You Can Get Close and Cuddly with Deer and Lambs 🦌
I’ve been wanting to visit Southwick’s Zoo for a long time, which is about an hour’s drive from Boston. The zoo has some popular capybaras and sloths. Getting up close and personal with the cute fawns and lambies (you can feed them) is super adorable! It takes about three hours to walk around and take photos. It’s summer, the perfect time to head to the zoo for some deer 🦌 and lamb 🐑 cuddles! Southwick is one of the largest zoos near Boston and you can spend half a day there! Plus, parking is very convenient 🙂 There are quite a variety of animals 🦁, 🐯, 🐒, 🦒, 🦓, 🦩, 🦙, 🦘, just no elephants 🐘. And it’s all outdoors, so ladies, make sure to apply sunscreen!!! 📍Southwick’s Zoo 🎟️ I recommend buying a combo ticket online for admission + skyfari + train, it’s $40 for adults. Just the admission ticket is$29. The Skyfari is a cable car ride around the zoo to see the animals, and the train is a small train ride to see the animals, but there aren’t many. It’s like a budget version of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Safaris. 🍽️ The restaurant outside the zoo, Galliford’s restaurant, is also a nice American-style restaurant. If you sit by the window, you can see directly into the zoo. #MagicalMomentsWithWildlife #BostonLife #BostonGetaways #BostonWeekend #Zoo #BostonZoo #BostonSurroundings
