Boston & Rhode Island 2-Day Mini Trip šŸššŸŒŠšŸ‚

First, a quick update—I’m so annoyed! It’s been three days since I got home, and I just realized that Capri Seafood in Rhode Island forced a 20% tip on me, which was way more than what I agreed to sign for. So gross! Their service was also terrible—even if the food was okay, I’ll never go back. āŒ Last time I visited Boston was last year, and I couldn’t resist coming back again! This time, we started with Newport—and it was stunning! Day 1: Newport Coastal Vibes + PVD Dinner Fail We left from PVD (Providence) in the morning and first stopped at Athena’s Breakfast & Lunch—a local spot with delicious, cheap food. Total ā€œneighborhood gemā€ energy šŸ˜‹. Next, we headed straight to Newport’s Cliff Walk. We walked all the way to the end on the left side first, then turned back and walked to the small pavilion on the right—total walking time was about 3 hours. The sea breeze + ocean views were unbeatable! Of all the attractions I’ve visited, only Schwerin Castle in Germany can compare to this beauty šŸ°. Heads up about parking: The spot at Narragansett Avenue at 40 Steps has super few spaces—we had to circle twice to grab one! The other parking lot nearby was insanely expensive… šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø Definitely arrive early if you can. In the evening, we went back to PVD and tried Capri Seafood for a seafood boil—huge mistake. Avoid this place at all costs—rip-off tipping and bad service! Day 2: Boston Favorites + Sweet Treats The next day, we went straight to Hai Zhi Wei —my all-time favorite! I ordered braised pork rice, and it was so satisfying—I’d been craving it for ages, and it lived up to every expectation 😭. After that, we wandered around Boston’s streets (casual city walk mode!). We wanted ice cream in the North End but couldn’t find the one we wanted, so we popped into Bova’s Bakery for tiramisu. We waited in line for 15 minutes to get it… It tasted okay, but I still prefer the tiramisu from Martha’s Country Bakery way more! šŸ° Such a fun trip—can’t wait to come back again soon! šŸ’•šŸ’• #FoodLovers #Boston #RhodeIsland #Newport #USTravel #NewYork
