Boston & Rhode Island 2-Day Mini Trip ššš
First, a quick updateāIām so annoyed! Itās been three days since I got home, and I just realized that Capri Seafood in Rhode Island forced a 20% tip on me, which was way more than what I agreed to sign for. So gross! Their service was also terribleāeven if the food was okay, Iāll never go back. ā Last time I visited Boston was last year, and I couldnāt resist coming back again! This time, we started with Newportāand it was stunning! Day 1: Newport Coastal Vibes + PVD Dinner Fail We left from PVD (Providence) in the morning and first stopped at Athenaās Breakfast & Lunchāa local spot with delicious, cheap food. Total āneighborhood gemā energy š. Next, we headed straight to Newportās Cliff Walk. We walked all the way to the end on the left side first, then turned back and walked to the small pavilion on the rightātotal walking time was about 3 hours. The sea breeze + ocean views were unbeatable! Of all the attractions Iāve visited, only Schwerin Castle in Germany can compare to this beauty š°. Heads up about parking: The spot at Narragansett Avenue at 40 Steps has super few spacesāwe had to circle twice to grab one! The other parking lot nearby was insanely expensive⦠š®āšØ Definitely arrive early if you can. In the evening, we went back to PVD and tried Capri Seafood for a seafood boilāhuge mistake. Avoid this place at all costsārip-off tipping and bad service! Day 2: Boston Favorites + Sweet Treats The next day, we went straight to Hai Zhi Wei āmy all-time favorite! I ordered braised pork rice, and it was so satisfyingāIād been craving it for ages, and it lived up to every expectation š. After that, we wandered around Bostonās streets (casual city walk mode!). We wanted ice cream in the North End but couldnāt find the one we wanted, so we popped into Bovaās Bakery for tiramisu. We waited in line for 15 minutes to get it⦠It tasted okay, but I still prefer the tiramisu from Marthaās Country Bakery way more! š° Such a fun tripācanāt wait to come back again soon! šš #FoodLovers #Boston #RhodeIsland #Newport #USTravel #NewYork
