La Royal, the sister restaurant of Celeste, serves delicious Peruvian fusion cuisine! I ordered the recommended tiger prawns, seafood rice, and duck rice stew. 🦐 The tiger prawns are full of South American flavor, tangy and appetizing, and the portion is bigger than it looks! Very satisfying. 🦑 The seafood rice has a mix of Italian seafood stew and paella vibe. This sauce is so good with rice 😭 🦆 The duck rice has a surprising flavor reminiscent of a local eatery’s pot dish. I absolutely love dishes with a strong home-cooked flavor. No wonder this place is known for Peruvian Chinese fusion. 🍮 For dessert, I tried the Lucuma Mousse. Lucuma doesn’t even have a Chinese entry on Wikipedia, maybe it’s similar to eggfruit? It’s a flavor I’ve never tasted before, a unique aroma between fruit and flower, and the mousse texture is a bit like egg? Overall, it’s a refreshing and not too sweet treat. 🍸 The La Royal Sour is a super cute, pink drink.
