Boston | This Thai Restaurant Can Compete with New York’s Best
mahaniyom 🌟I finally got to try it! It’s genuinely delicious! The menu is quite unique, not the usual repeated dishes you find at most Thai restaurants in Boston. The drink list is also special, but I didn’t get to try any this time. The place is small, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation, but walk-ins are actually okay too; it’s just that the seats by the window are a bit cramped! 🍴 YUM NGOH (Rambutan Salad) $17 Rambutan and shrimp salad. It also has cashews, coconut chips, and crispy onions, creating a sweet and slightly spicy salad, quite unique! The rambutan is abundant and very sweet. This seems to be a seasonal dish. 🍴 KANG PU (CRAB CURRY) $19 It’s like a curry version of pho dipping (?) The crab meat curry is sweet and rich, with finely shredded crab meat. It’s mainly about the sauce, which is delicious when dipped with the accompanying powder. There are also bean sprouts and other side dishes. 🍴 PLA LUI SUAN $35 The best dish of the meal was this fried fish! The fish is fried to perfection, with even the bones being crispy. The sauce is a Thai-style sweet and sour, which is very refreshing. The fish looks big, but it’s seriously not enough because it’s so good, leaving you wanting more. A must-order dish here. 🍴 BBQ & CRISPY PORK OVER RICE $17 It’s like a combination of char siu and roasted pork over rice, haha. The sauce is a bit sweet; even someone like me who loves sweet meat might find it a bit too sweet, but overall, it’s still delicious! #FoodDiary #BostonFood #BostonLife #BostonWeekend #ThaiCuisine #BostonThaiFood
