Electric vehicles were popular in the US and Europe in the 19th century but lost market share in the early 20th century due to battery limitations and the rise of internal combustion engines. It wasn't until the 21st century, with advancements in battery 🔋 technology and increased environmental awareness, that electric cars came back into focus. This exhibit features early electric cars and their charging devices. 2) 🚗 From Carriage to Classic: How Automobiles Transformed America : This exhibit features classic cars from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries, collected by J.K. Lilly III. Each car represents a design and technological achievement of its time. 3) 🎨 Impressionist New England: Four Seasons of Color and Light : This exhibit showcases Impressionist paintings from New England. The gallery is arranged by season, with each painting capturing the unique natural colors of New England. 🌸🍃🍂❄️ 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Activities : The museum offers a variety of family-friendly activities. Kids can play in the treehouse adventure area, and there are craft workshops, outdoor play areas, and an adorable indoor carousel 🎡—perfect for a family outing.
