Boston Allston’s Hidden Gem Thai Restaurant 🌟

Live Pickled Shrimp and Milk Tea 🥰 I’d like to share a hidden gem Thai restaurant in Allston, Laughing Monk Cafe 🌟 It just opened in February, and the place is quite small. You might walk right past it without noticing, and there aren’t many seats inside. However, the food they serve is pretty amazing! I’ve been there with friends before and really loved it 🥰 Personally, I’m a big fan of their Going Chair Nampla live pickled shrimp. The raw shrimp with the chili and lime dipping sauce is so fresh and vibrant. The dipping sauce may seem mild at first, but after a few bites, you’ll realize it has a real kick to it - it’s quite spicy and very satisfying to eat.🌟🍃 Another dish I really enjoy is the Khao Phot corn salad. This is not your average appetizer salad; it’s a huge plateful, very generous in portion, with a variety of ingredients. The taste is refreshing, with a sweet and tangy profile.🍤🥛 Besides the delicious food, you must also try their summer drinks! The classic Thai milk tea is a given, something you’d typically order with Thai food. But they have an even better Green Milk Tea 🍵💚 Promise me you’ll give it a try. Once you’ve had a sip, you’ll want more. I make a point to go there just for this drink! And it’s gone in just a few sips! #DeliciousSpringOutingRoute #Boston #BostonFoodMap #BostonFood #BostonRestaurantExploration #BostonAllston #BostonLife #BostonThaiFood #BostonWeekend #ThaiCuisine #ExploringRestaurants #boston #bostonFood #BostonLife #BostonDining
