Boston Area Hidden Gem Museum for Family Outings

💕I recently discovered a little-known museum that’s perfect for family outings, especially for dads and their kids – the American Heritage Museum. The venue isn’t large, but it’s sure to delight any male child or man in the family who has an interest in tanks. 💕The entire museum is indoors and starts with a movie introduction followed by a display of various tanks. According to the staff, every vehicle and tank on display, except for one that belonged to a certain unpeaceful figure (which is a replica), is a genuine article that has seen combat!!! 💕The tanks look fairly new because they have been repainted for display purposes, but there are also unrestored tanks for viewing. Some tanks are even climbable for a peek inside! Military enthusiasts must be thrilled at the thought. 💕But there’s more to get excited about!!! They offer tank driving experiences!!! The cheapest option is the M36 Jackson WWII tank for $195 per drive, and it can be counted as a tax-deductible donation!!! When taking the kids, dads and grandpas can watch the tank driving from the sidelines, absolutely captivated and not wanting to leave! Although it might be hard to understand the joy of eating sand with the head exposed, it’s still respected and supported, and it’s a must-try for birthdays! 💕If you visit on a weekend, you’re likely to encounter members of the history squad rehearsing and performing, giving you a deep dive into the historical atmosphere. Before you know it, half the morning has flown by! 💕The tank museum is also very close to Walden Pond and the town of Concord. Nature lovers can take a stroll around Walden Pond, while those who enjoy shopping and dining can explore Concord downtown. After lunch, a bit more exploring in the afternoon will ensure that the kids are tired enough to sleep soundly at night, leaving the whole family satisfied and happy. 💕Admission: Adults $20, Children under 12$10 #BostonFamilyOutings #BostonFamilyFun #BostonSurroundings #BostonWeekendFamilyOutings #BostonIndoorFamilyOutings
