Boston Sugar & Spice | Best Thai Food in Boston?

Itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve had Thai food (especially in Boston)! Today Iโ€™m at the place voted best Thai by Eater Boston, Time Out, and Boston Magazine! ๐Ÿ’ฐ Average cost per person is around $30 ๐Ÿ’ก The restaurant is not very big, but it has a classic, simple American Thai restaurant layout. Around 1 PM on a Saturday, the crowd was just right โ€“ not too crowded, not too empty, making for a comfortable environment. ๐Ÿ Pad Mee Karot This dish is delicious! Itโ€™s a sweet curry-flavored fried chicken chow mein. The chicken cutlet is super crispy, and the noodles come with onions, bean sprouts, eggs, and green mangoes (the highlight). Squeezing some lime juice balances out the sweetness and makes it easy to finish the whole plate! ๐Ÿฆ† Crispy Duck Because I ordered the fried chicken chow mein, I skipped the classic coffee grilled chicken (?) and went for the fried duck cutlet instead! It was my first time trying fried duck cutlet, and it was quite fresh and tasty! The flavor is more sweet and sour. ๐Ÿฎ Sakoo Sai Gai These are glutinous rice dumplings with chicken and peanut filling (?), with a chewy outer layer made of glutinous rice. The flavor is on the sweet Thai side. The overall texture is good, but it can be a bit cloying if you eat too much. The color looks very artificial, and Iโ€™m not sure why they dyed the glutinous rice red, haha! Itโ€™s a bit unappetizing! Luckily, whether itโ€™s blue, red, or white, the taste is the same! #BostonFood #CambridgeFood #BostonEats #BostonCambridgeFood #FoodExploration #NorthAmericaFoodExploration #BostonThaiFood #BostonThaiRestaurant
