🔵 Breaking Bad Tour Stop 8: The Famous Blue Candy Store

The Candy Lady 🍬 My day in Albuquerque was all about exploring Breaking Bad locations, and stop No. 8 was this iconic candy shop! While it wasn’t an actual filming location, The Candy Lady is famous for supplying the show’s prop team with blue rock candy that looked just like Heisenberg’s signature "blue meth." 💙 The shop is located in Albuquerque’s Old Town—which is absolutely worth a visit on its own—so it’s super convenient to include in your tour. Inside, you’ll find Breaking Bad photos everywhere, themed candies, souvenirs, and even a filming location map (though it’s pricey at $150 🗺️💸). I wasn’t planning to buy much since I’m not big on candy and already have too much stuff at home… but I ended up getting a tiny "Walter White" action figure for a fun photo with Jesse Pinkman’s statue! 😂 The best part? The staff was incredibly kind! 🥰 Even though I only spent $5, the owner offered to let me try on Jesse’s iconic yellow hoodie for photos. They told me they’d do it for anyone—whether you buy something or not. How cool is that? A must-visit for any Breaking Bad fan who loves a friendly, photo-filled experience! 📸✨ #BreakingBad #TheCandyLady #Albuquerque #OldTown #BlueMeth #TravelDiary #FanTour #NewMexico
