Breathtaking Japan | Tokyo | Ekoda Taishakuten 🌟
🌇🌿Ekoda, another place I finally overcame my procrastination to visit! 🌟 A place that became famous because of a movie. At the end of the shopping street lies the courtyard of Ekoda Taishakuten. 🌇🌿 Looking through the mountain gate, a robust pine tree decorates the main hall just steps away. 🌿 The temple grounds are not very large, and there's not much difference from many other old Japanese temples and residences. It has the style of the Nichiren sect, and I really like the emerald green roof. 🌿 🌇🌿 Outside the quaint courtyard walls,is the Ekoda shopping street, full of Showa-era charm. 🌇 JARIAY TOKYO®️PRESENT 🌟 The "Taishakuten Sando Shopping Street" is located in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, and is a 200-meter stretch from Ekoda Station on the Keisei Line to Taishakuten. 🌿 On both sides of the street, there are 52 shops, most of which still retain their old appearance with white walls and black tiles. Starting from the dumpling shop featured in the movie Otoko wa Tsurai yo , there are also shops selling dumplings, rice dumplings, pancakes, senbei (rice crackers), handmade candies, and river fish cuisine. 🌇🌿 These shops take pride in their unique methods of making these items, and you can really feel the charm of the traditional Japanese shopping street. 🌟 #Tokyo 🌇🌿
