Briançon Hot Springs ♨️ Guide

Back to Briançon for a hot spring soak ♨️ I've already written about the trip from Paris to Briançon, so I won't repeat it here. This time, I'll focus on how to enjoy the hot springs here. ♨️ The hot spring is called: Les Grands Bains du Monêtier, which is also part of the Southern Alps Serre-Chevalier ski resort. Many people come to relax in the hot springs after skiing, which is also beneficial for health. 🕐 Opening Hours: 2023/12/16-2024/05/12, Monday to Sunday 10:00-20:30 🚗 Transportation: It's very convenient to drive here, just navigate with Google Maps, and it's about a 20-minute drive. For those without a car, you can take the bus. From Briançon, you can take line 6 or bus 55, which will take you directly to the hot spring entrance, and it's about a 40-minute drive. 💰 Prices: See Figure 9 for the 2024 prices, adults for 2 hours is 24 euros, and generally, two hours is enough for a soak. It's recommended to book in advance on the official website, as there might be no tickets available for purchase on-site during peak seasons. ➡️ Process: After entering, go to the front desk and tell them your name. The staff will give you a card that starts timing from when you enter. This card is also for the locker room. Then, you can change into your swimsuit, and your clothes and shoes can be stored in the lockers. Regarding swimwear and towels, men should remember not to wear shorts that are too long; they need to wear tight-fitting swim trunks. If you don't have one, you can purchase swimwear and rent towels there. There are no specific requirements for women's swimwear; everyone dresses casually, with 👙 or 🩱 both being acceptable. Just avoid makeup and jewelry. About the Hot Springs: There are indoor and outdoor sections. The indoor section has several hot spring areas with different temperatures, ranging from 18 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius, and there are saunas where you can experience different temperatures. Then, you can move to the outdoor hot spring area, which is incredibly comfortable. The air is cold, and your body is immersed in the warm hot spring water, with a view of the distant snow-capped mountains and skiers. 🍺 After soaking in the hot springs, if you feel hungry, you can eat and drink hot mulled wine inside. Additionally, there's a nearby town where you can take a walk and find a bar for a drink, which is truly a great pleasure in the winter. #France #HotSprings #Spa #SkinPeelingSpaParty #France #Alps #OffTheBeatenPath #SnowyMountains #EuropeanSnow #EuropeanSkiing #FrenchHotSprings #HotSprings
