Brisbane's Story Bridge Glass House Restaurant 🍴 Ciao Papi

It took us two weeks of consecutive booking to finally get a table here—phew! The view is absolutely stunning, though. Dining in the glasshouse is incredibly atmospheric; the way the light filters through the glass, especially as the sun sets and the city lights start to twinkle, creates a magical vibe. However, the food is quite underwhelming, nothing to write home about. What’s more, there was a white waiter who seemed overly enthusiastic with other white customers but was dismissive and indifferent to us—his attitude was really lackluster. Pork Neck ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was hands down the best dish of the night! The charcoal-grilled pork neck was tender and juicy with a subtle smoky flavor. It was served with grilled apples—at first glance, I thought they were potatoes, what a nice surprise! The apples added a crisp, slightly sweet contrast to the meat, and when paired with the sweet and spicy sauce, the whole combination was simply delightful. Italian Dumplings ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t remember the exact name on the menu, but these were shrimp-filled dumplings with a bouncy texture. They had an intense, rich cheese flavor, though the downside was that they were a bit too salty. The crab meat pasta was a daily special that night, so I’m not sure if it’s available regularly. It was listed on a separate menu. The flavor was quite mild, but the crab meat chunks were large and generous. Tiramisu is definitely a representative dessert of Italian cuisine. Here, the cheese and coffee flavors were both quite subtle, and it wasn’t sweet at all—which was a plus! Even so, it was still quite tasty. For friends who don’t drink alcohol, you can order Italian soft drinks—they’re all pretty good. I prefer tangy flavors, so I went for the lemon one 🍋. Average cost per person: Around 80 AUD. My friend and I went with the goal of eating our fill, and we definitely achieved that. Address: 5 Boundary St, Brisbane City QLD 4000 #Australia #Brisbane #BrisbaneFood #food #BrisbaneEats #HiddenGemRestaurant #JapaneseCuisine
