Brisbane & Gold Coast | 4 Days 5 Nights Itinerary (Car-Free Edition)
Day 1β£οΈ: Sydney βοΈ Brisbane Arrived around 4 PM, took a taxi π to the city hotel β about $50 for two ($20 per person by train π, choose what suits you!). Dropped our luggage and headed straight to South Bank π³. Perfect for riverside photos πΈ, Brisbane sign, and exploring the City Market. So relaxed! β οΈ Flight Tips: Avoid Jetstar! π«βοΈ Though cheap, no baggage allowance + only 7kg carry-on + frequent delays/cancellations. Recommend Rex Airlines β β affordable, good service, and includes baggage! π¨ Hotel Tip: Many hotels in Brisbane and Gold Coast donβt provide toothbrushes β bring your own or check before booking! Day 2β£οΈ: Moreton Island Day Trip Booked a day tour on Ctrip ποΈ. β οΈ Moreton Island is private β no independent visits. Activities: ATV riding ποΈ, sand tobogganing ποΈ, snorkeling π€Ώ, and boat tours. Optional: Dolphin feeding at night π¬ β but only a few showed up when we went. Crowded and average experience. Day 3β£οΈ: Brisbane π Gold Coast Morning: Visited the Brisbane City Hall exhibition on the 3rd floor π¨. Small but colorful β great for photos! Dress playfully π§π. β οΈ Opens at 10 AM β donβt go too early! Took the train π to Gold Coast in the afternoon. Booked Parasailing πͺ β $90/person, ~2 hours. So much fun floating in the air behind a boat! Safe and perfect for sunset views π . Highly recommend if youβre not afraid of heights! Day 4β£οΈ: Sea World + Movie World Bought a 5-day 4-park pass on Taobao ποΈ. π Sea World: Go early to avoid the heat! Download the Theme Parks App to scan tickets, check showtimes πͺ, and ride wait times. Dolphins are super friendly β they brought us toys to play with! π¬ Say hi if you see them! Shark Bay π¦: Touch and feed sharks (side strokes only!). Polar Bear Exhibit π»ββοΈ: We lucked out β saw feeding time! π¬ Movie World: Not huge β mostly rides and character parades π’. No strategy needed β just try everything! Our favorite: The Mine Ride Coaster! π¦ You might get wet, but youβll dry quickly under the sun βοΈ. Day 5β£οΈ: Currumbin Zoo βοΈ Sydney Zoo is near the airport π¨. Buy entry tickets on Taobao + add photo experiences separately β cheaper that way! β οΈ Tips: Feed kangaroos β bring $2 coins π¦. Hold a koala?
