Brisbane · Perfect for Solo Travel!
🇦🇺 Brisbane · Perfect for Solo Travel! Honestly, Brisbane is just ideal for solo citywalking! 🚶♀️ Most CBD attractions are within a 20-minute walk, so you can explore at your own pace. I’ve put together a 2-day CBD walking route — hope it helps those heading to Brissy! Day 1: City Views Central Station 🚶🏻♀️ Anzac Square 🚶🏻♀️ Queen Street Plaza 🚶🏻♀️ Cathedral of St Stephen 🚌 Kangaroo Point 🚌 Story Bridge ▫️ Anzac Square: This time I stayed at Sofitel Brisbane Hotel — the bird’s-eye view of Anzac Square is truly special 🏙️. Highly recommend grabbing afternoon tea here with a view! ☕ ▫️ Queen Street: The main shopping hub 🛍️ — so much cleaner than Melbourne’s streets! Souvenirs, streetwear, luxury brands — it’s all here and super convenient. ▫️ Kangaroo Point: The bus ride from the city was the most frustrating part for me 🚌, especially with CBD traffic delays. But the view of Brisbane from here? Absolutely stunning! 🌆 ▫️ Story Bridge: Personally, I don’t recommend this one ❌. Few restaurants around, and after seeing Sydney’s bridges, this one feels a bit plain. Day 2: Culture Tour Brisbane Art Gallery 🚶🏻♀️ State Library 🚶🏻♀️ Modern Art Gallery 🚶🏻♀️ Brisbane Sign 🚶🏻♀️ South Bank Parkland 🚶🏻♀️ Queen’s Wharf ▫️ Art Gallery vs Modern Art: I preferred the exhibitions at Modern Art 🎨, but the architecture inside the Art Gallery is more unique. ▫️ Queen’s Wharf: Definitely the most memorable landmark of my trip! ✨ Bonus: My Favorite Food Spots! Doodee Boran (Thai): Yes, it’s super popular online, but for a reason! Their Thai food beats any I’ve tried in Melbourne 😋. The sweet & spicy raw shrimp salad is unforgettable! 🍤 Cha Li Four Seasons: Brisbane’s version — a must-try for bubble tea lovers! 🧋 #Brisbane #SoloTravel #BrisbaneGuide #CityWalk #TravelAustralia #ExploreBrisbane #FoodieFinds 🎒📸🌏
