This restaurant is absolutely worth a visit 👍👍 I’ve always stuck to wagyu before, but my first taste of Australian beef here was a game-changer. It’s so tender and delicious 😋—highly recommend it ‼️ 📍 Walter‘s Steakhouse and Wine Bar Signature Australian Beef 💲79/person We ordered the restaurant’s signature Australian beef 🥩, and it was incredibly good. Cooked to medium-rare, it practically melts in your mouth. The steak is unique because it features two different cuts: one side is filet mignon, and I can’t recall the other (maybe ribeye?). Personally, I preferred the filet mignon—the other cut was a bit fattier. At $79 per serving, it’s served with a minimum order of two, but the portion size and juiciness are more than worth it. The appetizers 🥙 were decent but unremarkable. It wasn’t until we tried the steak that we understood why this place is such a hit—it lives up to the hype. Natural Oysters 💲36/half dozen The oysters 🦪 are super fresh, but what really stands out is the special sauce 🥣. It eliminates any fishiness while preserving the oyster’s natural flavor. I barely tasted any sand, which is a big plus 😍. Beef Marrow 💲30 Their beef marrow is surprisingly non-greasy—the cooking (huǒhou) is perfect. It retains the marrow’s 🐮 rich fat but never feels heavy. The accompanying sauce, similar to a mustard aioli, balances the richness beautifully. The only downside? I’m not a fan of the grilled baguette 🥖—it’s too hard and tough to bite into. Beef Tartare 💲32 My friend is a die-hard tartare 🥗 fan who’s tried it everywhere. To me, this version was just average. The beef is fresh and tasty, but it lacks a standout texture. It pales in comparison to the steak, so you can skip it if you’re here for the main event. Roasted Cabbage 🥬 I accidentally ordered this thinking it was bamboo shoots, but it was a pleasant surprise. I don’t love eating meat nonstop, so a bite of this in between made the steak taste even better. The cabbage is roasted—crispy on the outside, tender inside—with a tangy, tomato-based 🍅 seasoning that cuts through the richness. Buttered Mashed Potatoes 💲16 I’d seen rave reviews online, but they were just okay for me. The butter 🧈 and milk 🥛 flavors aren’t as bold as I hoped—they tasted a bit like KFC’s mashed potatoes. Though, to be fair, we’d ordered so much food that I was already full by the time I tried them. Tips for Visiting Book ahead on Google—we went around 9 PM and it was still packed 👫. The staff 💁 is limited, so service can be slow.
