British Restaurant in Philly – Hidden in a Vintage Building
Stumbled upon this incredibly atmospheric British restaurant in the heart of Philly—The Dandelion. The whole building feels like a small English manor—classic and elegant, as if you’ve stepped right into an old British pub. We ordered: 🦪 Half Dozen Oysters – Chilled and fresh. 🦀 Crab Croquettes – Crispy outside, tender inside, with a delicious dipping sauce. 🥩 Steak Frites – Cooked perfectly medium-rare, served with thick-cut fries and a generous salad—classic pub fare. 🐟 Roasted Trout – Tender fish with a hint of herbs. 🍮 Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream – Sweet but not cloying. Portions were hearty, and for downtown, the value is pretty good. Great for dates, friend hangouts, or family gatherings. Every corner feels photo-worthy, and chatting by the vintage fireplace with a drink is just so cozy. #PhillyFood #PhillyEats #BritishRestaurant #VibesDining #PhillyTravel #LifeAbroad #AmericanLife
