Brunch for Two Straight Days at Snooze in Denver! 🍳🥞
Came to Denver for a conference and headed straight to the famous Snooze an A.M. Eatery without even dropping off my luggage! 🎒➡️🍽️ They have multiple locations in Denver, and I visited the Union Station spot twice. The restaurant is connected to Union Station—a bit noisy and dimly lit, but spacious enough 🏢🔊. Here’s what I tried: 1️⃣ Shrimp & Grits ($16.75) 🍤🌽 I love grits for their smooth texture, so I always order this dish when available (though the best Shrimp & Grits I’ve had is at Breakfast Republic in Cali!). This version had a good kick of chili oil 🌶️😋. The staff asked if we wanted to share and kindly split it into two plates—so convenient! 👏 2️⃣ Funky Monkey French Toast 🍌🍞 Initially wanted to try the Uber driver-recommended Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes, but switched to this last minute—and it did NOT disappoint! 🤩✨ This is one of the most unique and delicious French toasts I’ve ever had. Not overly sweet, perfectly portioned, and a must-try even though it’s underrated! 3️⃣ Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes ($11.25) 🍍🥞 Came back the next morning to try the driver’s pick (and used a voucher! The server gave us a coupon when we mentioned struggling to choose between pineapple and Funky Monkey 😍). Honestly, it wasn’t as good—the pineapple bits were small and not very fresh. Pretty average 😕. 4️⃣ Parmesan-Panko Crab Cake Benedict 🦀🍳 This might be a seasonal item—thick and burger-like! Tasty, but I preferred the first two dishes. Overall, Snooze reminds me of First Watch—not ultra-fancy brunch, but unique and worth a visit! 🎉💖 #USA #Denver#SnoozeBrunch #DenverFood #UnionStation #BrunchLovers #FrenchToast #ShrimpAndGrits
